Marsden Cove is a marina and system of man-made canals catering to boat owners and water-loving residents. Marsden Cove is fast becoming the "it" area, and is brimming with curious visitors during the summer months. Waterline Cafe is located in the heart of the marina and overlooks the water, boats, and luxurious houses of residents of this friendly community.

Marsden Cove is located just 25 minutes South of Whangarei and two hours North of Auckland. It sits between the popular beach towns of One Tree Point and Ruakaka. Ruakaka's surf beach is a short five minute drive from Waterline, and the wonderful warm waters of the Whangarei harbour are accessible from One Tree Point, little more than a stroll away. Turn off at the roundabout at State Highway 1 and drive a short 7km to this picturesque collection of beach communities and friendly Waterline Cafe.

Located at the top of Bream Bay, and watched over by the majestic and beautiful hills of Whangarei Heads, this is a rapidly growing area. Nearby are Northland Port, a new and rapidly growing port area, and the Marsden Oil Refinery. There is much more to this area than just beautiful beaches and scenery. It sports a couple of primary schools, a seconday school, shopping center and supermarket, recreation center, public library and hordes of beach loving residents and holiday makers.
